Registered bed nights increased 67 percent

In November 2021, 2,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Dorotea (+67.3 %), of which 1,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 390 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 45 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 510 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 67 percent from last year's November.

260 rooms (+86.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 300 rooms (+74.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 33,900 registered bed nights (+12.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,100 (+168.9 %) for foreigners in Dorotea, in total 39,000 (+22.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (+134.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+133.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 575,000 nights (+145.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Dorotea out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 2.9 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 24 percent compared to earlier year. In Dorotea, length of stay in November was on average 2.9 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (-21.7 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Dorotea on average 2.9 nights (+1.4 %) and foreigners 3.0 nights (-8.0 %).

750 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 120 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 82.9 percent were domestic, and 17.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Dorotea on average 2.9 nights (-0.9) and foreigners 3.0 nights (-1.9).
