In May 2020, 14,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Drammen Region (-46.8 %), of which 13,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 36 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 84 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 47 percent from last year's May.
2,100 nights (-71.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5,900 nights (-31.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 54,100 registered bed nights (-20.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,400 (-46.1 %) for foreigners in Drammen Region, in total 62,400 (-25.2 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased 11 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Drammen Region, length of stay in May was on average 2.6 nights and in Norway 2.7 nights (+46.1 %).
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Drammen Region on average 2.5 nights (+7.2 %) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+13.7 %).
5,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 52 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.8 percent were domestic, and 6.2 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Drammen Region on average 2.5 nights (+0.03) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+1.1).
