Eda: Tourism in a nutshell

1,100 registered bed nights
In April 2021, 1,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Eda (-72.1 %), of which 810 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 270 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 79 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 310 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 72 percent from last year's April.
139 rooms (+44.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 290 rooms (+104.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 3,600 registered bed nights (-79.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,000 (+43.7 %) for foreigners in Eda, in total 6,600 (-65.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 79 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.2 percent were domestic, and 12.8 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Eda on average 3.4 nights (+0.48) and foreigners 7.7 nights (+1.8).
