4,400 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 4,400 bed nights were recorded in Eda (-20.7 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 420 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 85 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 88 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 21 percent from last year's March.

340 rooms (-58.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 220 rooms (-61.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 13,500 bed nights (+128.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,000 (-82.0 %) for foreigners in Eda, in total 15,500 (-9.8 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Eda out of total bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,400 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 37 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 88.5 percent were domestic, and 11.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Eda on average 3.3 nights (+0.67) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+0.21).
