8,200 registered bed nights

In September 2019, 8,200 bed nights were recorded in Eda (-2.8 %), of which 4,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,400 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 25 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 26 percent. In total, bed nights decreased three percent from last year's September.

1,000 rooms (-53.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (+447.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 27,100 bed nights (-18.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 84,400 (-1.3 %) for foreigners in Eda, in total 112,000 (-6.2 %) nights.

Market share 0.2 percent

Total of 4.5 million bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+3.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (-1.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Eda out of total bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

5,000 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 43.2 percent were domestic, and 56.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Eda on average 2.2 nights (+0.69) and foreigners 1.2 nights (-0.28).
