3,900 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 3,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Eda (-49.0 %), of which 3,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 65 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 125 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 99 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 49 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (26 nights).

96 rooms (-90.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 142 rooms (-79.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 17,300 registered bed nights (+127.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,100 (-87.8 %) for foreigners in Eda, in total 19,400 (-21.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (-70.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (-65.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 114,000 nights (-88.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Eda out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 67 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.2 percent were domestic, and 0.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Eda on average 2.9 nights (+1.4) and foreigners 5.9 nights (+3.9).
