5,300 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 5,300 bed nights were recorded in Ekerö, of which 5,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 138 nights by foreigners.

220 rooms were booked by leisure visitors and 2,200 rooms by business visitors.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ekerö out of total bed nights was 0.2 %, out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

2,700 tourists arrived to accommodation

Of all arrivals, 97.9 percent were domestic, and 2.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ekerö on average 2.0 nights and foreigners 2.5 nights.
