6,800 registered bed nights

In September 2021, 6,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Eksjö (-5.6 %), of which 5,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 960 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 118 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased six percent from last year's September.

1,100 rooms (-33.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (+2.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 59,400 registered bed nights (+16.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,900 (+217.9 %) for foreigners in Eksjö, in total 68,200 (+27.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Eksjö out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

3,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.0 percent were domestic, and 13.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Eksjö on average 1.8 nights (-0.09) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-0.04).
