Registered bed nights increased eight percent

In April 2021, 2,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Enköping (+7.5 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 65 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 71 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased eight percent from last year's April.

380 rooms (+146.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (+27.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 9,100 registered bed nights (-44.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 200 (-42.3 %) for foreigners in Enköping, in total 9,300 (-44.8 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Enköping out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 18 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.3 percent were domestic, and 3.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Enköping on average 2.2 nights (-0.15) and foreigners 1.4 nights (-4.0).
