In June 2019, 13,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Enontekiö (-1.4 %), of which 10,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased four percent and registered foreign bed nights increased nine percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased one percent from last year's June.
11,900 nights (-9.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,500 nights (+246.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 41,100 registered bed nights (-0.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 26,100 (-11.3 %) for foreigners in Enontekiö, in total 67,200 (-5.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay increased 19 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 19 percent compared to earlier year. In Enontekiö, length of stay in June was on average 1.9 nights and in Finland 1.8 nights (+0.4 %).
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Enontekiö on average 2.3 nights (+10.6 %) and foreigners 1.2 nights (-6.5 %).
7,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 17 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 65.4 percent were domestic, and 34.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Enontekiö on average 2.3 nights (+0.52) and foreigners 1.2 nights (+0.04).
