Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased six percent
In July 2020, 27,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Enontekiö (+6.3 %), of which 23,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 17 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased six percent from last year's July.
25,800 nights (+7.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,400 nights (-13.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and July, 43,600 registered bed nights (-30.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 26,200 (-13.4 %) for foreigners in Enontekiö, in total 69,800 (-24.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Enontekiö, length of stay in July was on average 1.6 nights and in Finland 1.7 nights (-4.6 %).
During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Enontekiö on average 1.6 nights (-17.6 %) and foreigners 1.5 nights (+35.8 %).
17,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased four percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 86.7 percent were domestic, and 13.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Enontekiö on average 1.6 nights (-0.04) and foreigners 1.5 nights (+0.27).
