20,400 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 20,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Eskilstuna (-40.3 %), of which 19,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 68 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 40 percent from last year's June.

3,300 rooms (-57.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,600 rooms (-26.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 85,300 registered bed nights (-39.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,200 (-51.6 %) for foreigners in Eskilstuna, in total 92,600 (-40.2 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.6 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Eskilstuna out of total registered bed nights was 0.6 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

9,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 44 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.4 percent were domestic, and 3.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Eskilstuna on average 2.0 nights (+0.06) and foreigners 3.3 nights (+1.4).
