Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 10 percent

In September 2018, 51,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Falkenberg (+9.7 %), of which 46,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased nine percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 15 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 10 percent from last year's September.

5,000 rooms (+36.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 6,600 rooms (+1.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 614,000 registered bed nights (+9.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 66,600 (-0.0 %) for foreigners in Falkenberg, in total 681,000 (+8.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.4 million registered bed nights (-0.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.3 million nights (-1.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (+2.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Falkenberg out of total registered bed nights was 1.2 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.
