19,000 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 19,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Falkenberg (-63.5 %), of which 18,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 260 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 60 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 95 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 63 percent from last year's April.

3,500 rooms (-57.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 770 rooms (-75.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 85,400 registered bed nights (-26.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,100 (-55.9 %) for foreigners in Falkenberg, in total 90,500 (-29.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (-70.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (-65.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 114,000 nights (-88.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Falkenberg out of total registered bed nights was 1.5 % (+0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Falkenberg on average 2.2 nights (-4.9 %) and foreigners 2.4 nights (+10.3 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 61 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.7 percent were domestic, and 1.3 percent were from foreign countries.
