Registered bed nights increased 12 percent
In November 2019, 21,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Falun (+12.3 %), of which 18,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 12 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 11 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 12 percent from last year's November.
4,600 rooms (+44.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 6,100 rooms (+32.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and November, 298,000 registered bed nights (+2.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 42,600 (+24.5 %) for foreigners in Falun, in total 341,000 (+5.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased three percent compared to earlier year. In Falun, length of stay in November was on average 2.2 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Falun on average 2.1 nights (+3.1 %) and foreigners 3.2 nights (-8.2 %).
