2,400 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 2,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Filipstad (-48.8 %), of which 2,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 96 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 29 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 94 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 49 percent from last year's June.

430 rooms (-41.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 540 rooms (-31.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 9,600 registered bed nights (-14.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 490 (-84.8 %) for foreigners in Filipstad, in total 10,100 (-30.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Filipstad out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 56 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.1 percent were domestic, and 2.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Filipstad on average 2.2 nights (+0.26) and foreigners 3.1 nights (+1.2).
