Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 16 percent

In September 2019, 2,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Filipstad (+15.7 %), of which 2,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 320 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased five percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 16 percent from last year's September.

380 rooms (-16.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 990 rooms (-0.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 23,500 registered bed nights (-16.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,200 (-28.2 %) for foreigners in Filipstad, in total 32,600 (-20.0 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 14 percent compared to earlier year. In Filipstad, length of stay in September was on average 2.2 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-1.3 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Filipstad on average 2.1 nights (+0.7 %) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+370.0 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.9 percent were domestic, and 7.1 percent were from foreign countries.
