Finspång: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased five percent
In May 2022, 2,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Finspång (+4.7 %), of which 2,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 186 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased six percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 14 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased five percent from last year's May.
800 rooms (+13.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 950 rooms (+4.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 7,400 registered bed nights (+0.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 600 (-6.8 %) for foreigners in Finspång, in total 8,000 (-0.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 31 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.5 percent were domestic, and 3.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Finspång on average 1.6 nights (-0.36) and foreigners 3.4 nights (-3.4).
