2,200 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 2,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Finspång (-30.8 %), of which 2,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 230 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 65 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 31 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (50 nights).

760 rooms (-1.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (-37.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 20,300 registered bed nights (-1.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,100 (-63.8 %) for foreigners in Finspång, in total 22,500 (-15.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Finspång out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 32 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.9 percent were domestic, and 4.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Finspång on average 1.8 nights (+0.1) and foreigners 4.7 nights (+1.3).
