Registered bed nights increased 36 percent

In September 2021, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Finspång (+36.4 %), of which 2,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 590 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 157 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 36 percent from last year's September.

990 rooms (+30.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+18.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 20,700 registered bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,200 (+3.5 %) for foreigners in Finspång, in total 22,900 (+2.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Finspång out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 41 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.7 percent were domestic, and 5.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Finspång on average 1.6 nights (-0.21) and foreigners 6.7 nights (+2.0).
