Registered bed nights increased 42 percent

In September 2021, 5,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Flen (+41.7 %), of which 5,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 49 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 38 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 42 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (57 nights).

1,500 rooms (+66.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (-4.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 40,500 registered bed nights (-11.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,800 (+24.2 %) for foreigners in Flen, in total 43,400 (-9.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Flen out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

3,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 48 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.5 percent were domestic, and 3.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Flen on average 1.6 nights (-0.04) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-0.38).
