Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 23 percent

In June 2019, 10,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Flen (+22.9 %), of which 9,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 720 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 103 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 23 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (230 nights).

1,300 rooms (+11.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (-7.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 29,300 registered bed nights (+1.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,100 (+53.4 %) for foreigners in Flen, in total 31,300 (+3.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Flen out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased 21 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 21 percent compared to earlier year. In Flen, length of stay in June was on average 5.5 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Flen on average 6.0 nights (+13.4 %) and foreigners 2.6 nights (-8.4 %).

1,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 85.4 percent were domestic, and 14.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Flen on average 6.0 nights (+1.2) and foreigners 2.6 nights (+0.34).
