Registered bed nights increased 33 percent
In August 2021, 2,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Forshaga (+32.6 %), of which 1,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 380 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 17 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 240 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 33 percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (104 nights).
730 rooms (+29.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 260 rooms (+37.6 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Forshaga, length of stay in August was on average 1.6 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-3.6 %).
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Forshaga on average 1.6 nights and foreigners 1.9 nights .
