5,900 registered bed nights
In February 2019, 5,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Forssa Region (-0.4 %), of which 5,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased six percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 63 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased less than one percent from last year's February.
3,400 nights (-14.2 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,400 nights (+28.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and February, 13,900 registered bed nights (-4.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 370 (-62.0 %) for foreigners in Forssa Region, in total 10,600 (-1.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay increased five percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased five percent compared to earlier year. In Forssa Region, length of stay in February was on average 1.8 nights and in Finland 2.0 nights (-1.3 %).
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Forssa Region on average 1.8 nights (+7.5 %) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-52.3 %).
3,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased five percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.7 percent were domestic, and 3.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Forssa Region on average 1.8 nights (+0.2) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-3.6).
