Registered bed nights increased 123 percent
In April 2021, 4,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Fosen Region (+123.3 %), of which 3,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 560 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 104 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 560 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 123 percent from last year's April.
1,000 nights (+165.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,500 nights (+63.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 14,600 registered bed nights (+7.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,000 (+302.9 %) for foreigners in Fosen Region, in total 18,600 (+28.1 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 2.9 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 16 percent compared to earlier year. In Fosen Region, length of stay in April was on average 2.9 nights and in Norway 2.8 nights (-3.0 %).
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Fosen Region on average 2.6 nights (+24.9 %) and foreigners 15 nights (-20.7 %).
1,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 165 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.6 percent were domestic, and 2.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Fosen Region on average 2.6 nights (-0.85) and foreigners 15 nights (+12).
