Gävleborg County: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered bed nights increased 12 percent
In January 2019, 93,200 bed nights were recorded in Gävleborg County (+12.3 %), of which 87,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,500 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 11 percent and foreign bed nights increased 52 percent. In total, bed nights increased 12 percent from last year's January.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (560 nights).

The market share of Gävleborg County out of total bed nights was 2.5 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 2.9 % and foreign bed nights 0.7 %.
