Registered bed nights increased 24 percent
In September 2021, 99,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Gävleborg County (+23.6 %), of which 91,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 8,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 21 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 74 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 24 percent from last year's September.
Between January and September, 1.0 million registered bed nights (+9.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 70,700 (+77.8 %) for foreigners in Gävleborg County, in total 1.1 million (+11.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
