3,100 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 3,100 bed nights were recorded in Gislaved (-56.8 %), of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 430 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 39 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 85 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 57 percent from last year's March.

360 rooms (-56.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (-44.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 10,200 bed nights (-32.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,700 (-83.2 %) for foreigners in Gislaved, in total 12,900 (-58.7 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Gislaved out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,800 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 51 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 89.6 percent were domestic, and 10.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Gislaved on average 1.7 nights (-0.1) and foreigners 2.3 nights (-0.18).
