4,900 registered bed nights

In December 2019, 4,900 bed nights were recorded in Gislaved (-15.0 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 950 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased two percent and foreign bed nights decreased 45 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 15 percent from last year's December.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (530 nights).

730 rooms (-11.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (-0.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 98,200 bed nights (-1.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 37,600 (-2.0 %) for foreigners in Gislaved, in total 136,000 (-1.5 %) nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 3.5 million bed nights (+0.3 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (+1.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 764,000 nights (-2.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Gislaved out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,700 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 10 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 86.1 percent were domestic, and 13.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Gislaved on average 1.7 nights (-0.04) and foreigners 2.6 nights (-0.11).
