In February 2019, 288,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Gothenburg (-0.3 %), of which 211,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 77,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased one percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased less than one percent from last year's February.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (12,500 nights).

Between January and February, 435,000 registered bed nights (-1.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 152,000 (+5.1 %) for foreigners in Greater Gothenburg, in total 587,000 (-0.1 %) registered nights.
