In October 2020, 288,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Gothenburg (-31.4 %), of which 249,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 39,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 21 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 63 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 31 percent from last year's October.

Between January and October, 2.1 million registered bed nights (-38.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 354,000 (-73.9 %) for foreigners in Greater Gothenburg, in total 2.4 million (-48.4 %) registered nights.
