In December 2020, 111,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Gothenburg (-66.9 %), of which 96,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 14,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 62 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 83 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 67 percent from last year's December.

Between January and December, 2.3 million registered bed nights (-41.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 388,000 (-74.7 %) for foreigners in Greater Gothenburg, in total 2.7 million (-51.1 %) registered nights.
