In March 2021, 133,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Gothenburg (-14.0 %), of which 118,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 14,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 46 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 14 percent from last year's March.
Between January and March, 319,000 registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 39,400 (-78.7 %) for foreigners in Greater Gothenburg, in total 358,000 (-55.4 %) registered nights.
