Registered bed nights increased 181 percent (December 2021)

In December 2021, 312,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Gothenburg (+181.1 %), of which 260,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 52,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 169 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 260 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 181 percent from last year's December.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (12,200 nights).

Between January and December, 3.3 million registered bed nights (+43.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 589,000 (+52.0 %) for foreigners in Greater Gothenburg, in total 3.9 million (+44.4 %) registered nights.
