Registered bed nights increased nine percent
In January 2018, 168,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Malmö (+9.2 %), of which 124,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 43,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased eight percent. In total, registered bed nights increased nine percent from last year's January.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (6,900 nights).
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
