Registered bed nights increased five percent
In February 2019, 174,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Malmö (+4.7 %), of which 126,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 48,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased five percent and registered foreign bed nights increased five percent. In total, registered bed nights increased five percent from last year's February.
Between January and February, 249,000 registered bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 93,100 (+3.9 %) for foreigners in Greater Malmö, in total 343,000 (+2.5 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
