1.1 million registered bed nights

In April 2019, 1.1 million registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Stockholm (-0.5 %), of which 716,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 380,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased one percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased four percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased less than one percent from last year's April.

Between January and April, 2.7 million registered bed nights (+4.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1.3 million (-0.9 %) for foreigners in Greater Stockholm, in total 4.0 million (+2.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.3 million registered bed nights (+5.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.3 million nights (+4.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 953,000 nights (+8.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Greater Stockholm out of total registered bed nights was 25.7 % (-1.4 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 21.6 % and foreign bed nights 39.8 %.
