Registered bed nights increased five percent
In November 2019, 1.2 million registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Stockholm (+5.2 %), of which 865,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 322,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased nine percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased four percent. In total, registered bed nights increased five percent from last year's November.
Between January and November, 9.2 million registered bed nights (+9.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5.1 million (-2.0 %) for foreigners in Greater Stockholm, in total 14.3 million (+5.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
