Registered bed nights increased two percent
In January 2020, 921,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Stockholm (+1.9 %), of which 636,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 285,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased four percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased three percent. In total, registered bed nights increased two percent from last year's January.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (28,300 nights).
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
