711,000 registered bed nights

In July 2020, 711,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Stockholm (-59.1 %), of which 622,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 88,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 38 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 88 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 59 percent from last year's July.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (13,200 nights).

Between January and July, 3.2 million registered bed nights (-42.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 968,000 (-69.6 %) for foreigners in Greater Stockholm, in total 4.1 million (-52.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 9.4 million registered bed nights (-30.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 8.8 million nights (-5.6 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 551,000 nights (-86.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Greater Stockholm out of total registered bed nights was 7.6 % (-5.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 7.1 % and foreign bed nights 16.1 %.
