676,000 registered bed nights

In August 2020, 676,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Greater Stockholm (-62.0 %), of which 559,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 117,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 46 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 84 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 62 percent from last year's August.

Between January and August, 3.7 million registered bed nights (-42.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1.1 million (-72.4 %) for foreigners in Greater Stockholm, in total 4.8 million (-53.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 6.1 million registered bed nights (-31.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.4 million nights (-10.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 615,000 nights (-77.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Greater Stockholm out of total registered bed nights was 11.2 % (-8.9 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 10.3 % and foreign bed nights 19.0 %.
