38,600 registered bed nights

In August 2022, 38,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Hadeland And Ringerike (-29.5 %), of which 32,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 127 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 30 percent from last year's August.

8,200 nights (+56.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,900 nights (-60.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 170,000 registered bed nights (-10.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 20,400 (+325.6 %) for foreigners in Hadeland And Ringerike, in total 191,000 (-2.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 5.2 million registered bed nights (+18.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.2 million nights (-8.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.9 million nights (+129.4 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hadeland And Ringerike out of total registered bed nights was 0.7 % (-0.5 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.0 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

19,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 25 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 76.7 percent were domestic, and 23.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hadeland And Ringerike on average 2.2 nights (-1.6) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-0.21).
