Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 320 percent

In April 2021, 7,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Hadeland And Ringerike (+315.5 %), of which 7,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 77 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 330 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 24 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 320 percent from last year's April.

93 nights (-41.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,100 nights (+405.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 19,200 registered bed nights (-26.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 380 (-64.2 %) for foreigners in Hadeland And Ringerike, in total 19,600 (-28.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 883,000 registered bed nights (+166.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 788,000 nights (+184.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 94,300 nights (+75.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hadeland And Ringerike out of total registered bed nights was 0.8 % (+0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.9 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 39 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 39 percent compared to earlier year. In Hadeland And Ringerike, length of stay in April was on average 4.0 nights and in Norway 2.8 nights (-3.0 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hadeland And Ringerike on average 4.0 nights (+127.3 %) and foreigners 3.2 nights (+107.8 %).

1,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 200 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.7 percent were domestic, and 1.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hadeland And Ringerike on average 4.0 nights (+0.92) and foreigners 3.2 nights (+2.2).
