Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 99 percent

In October 2021, 18,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Hadeland And Ringerike (+99.3 %), of which 17,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 570 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 97 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 250 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 99 percent from last year's October.

3,000 nights (+50.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,900 nights (+43.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 232,000 registered bed nights (+35.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,300 (+37.0 %) for foreigners in Hadeland And Ringerike, in total 238,000 (+35.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.4 million registered bed nights (+57.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.1 million nights (+50.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 306,000 nights (+120.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hadeland And Ringerike out of total registered bed nights was 0.8 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.9 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay increased six percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased six percent compared to earlier year. In Hadeland And Ringerike, length of stay in October was on average 1.7 nights and in Norway 1.9 nights (-5.9 %).

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hadeland And Ringerike on average 1.7 nights (-11.9 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (+17.6 %).

11,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 88 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.3 percent were domestic, and 2.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hadeland And Ringerike on average 1.7 nights (+0.08) and foreigners 2.0 nights (+0.46).
