Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 156 percent

In December 2021, 5,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Hadeland And Ringerike (+155.7 %), of which 5,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 176 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 153 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 320 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 156 percent from last year's December.

1,200 nights (+78.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,600 nights (+15.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 255,000 registered bed nights (+43.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,800 (+41.6 %) for foreigners in Hadeland And Ringerike, in total 261,000 (+43.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (+49.3 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 980,000 nights (+31.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 271,000 nights (+196.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hadeland And Ringerike out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 16 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 16 percent compared to earlier year. In Hadeland And Ringerike, length of stay in December was on average 2.2 nights and in Norway 2.2 nights (-10.3 %).

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hadeland And Ringerike on average 2.2 nights (-15.3 %) and foreigners 1.9 nights (+18.7 %).

2,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 121 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.5 percent were domestic, and 3.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hadeland And Ringerike on average 2.2 nights (+0.28) and foreigners 1.9 nights (+0.9).
