Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 42 percent

In October 2019, 2,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Hagfors (+42.4 %), of which 1,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 41 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 46 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 42 percent from last year's October.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (500 nights).

360 rooms (+116.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 990 rooms (-0.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 20,100 registered bed nights (-31.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 23,400 (-15.3 %) for foreigners in Hagfors, in total 43,500 (-23.4 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased nine percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Hagfors, length of stay in October was on average 2.6 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (-0.5 %).

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hagfors on average 2.1 nights (-21.3 %) and foreigners 4.9 nights (-5.8 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 30 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 81.3 percent were domestic, and 18.7 percent were from foreign countries.
