Registered bed nights increased 41 percent

In May 2022, 7,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Halden (+40.8 %), of which 6,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 890 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 24 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 1,800 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 41 percent from last year's May.

Between January and May, 18,100 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,100 for foreigners in Halden, in total 21,200 registered nights.

Total of 2.9 million registered bed nights (+88.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+55.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 663,000 nights (+546.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Halden out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.
