Registered bed nights increased seven percent
In August 2019, 495,000 bed nights were recorded in Halland County (+6.9 %), of which 425,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 69,600 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased six percent and foreign bed nights increased 12 percent. In total, bed nights increased seven percent from last year's August.
Between January and August, 2.2 million bed nights (+5.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 307,000 (+4.3 %) for foreigners in Halland County, in total 2.5 million (+5.5 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
