Registered bed nights increased eight percent
In June 2019, 374,000 bed nights were recorded in Halland County (+7.7 %), of which 328,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 45,800 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased eight percent and foreign bed nights increased nine percent. In total, bed nights increased eight percent from last year's June.
Between January and June, 928,000 bed nights (+5.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 113,000 (-2.9 %) for foreigners in Halland County, in total 1.0 million (+4.8 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
