Registered bed nights increased 21 percent
In February 2020, 95,600 bed nights were recorded in Halland County (+21.1 %), of which 85,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 10,300 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 25 percent and foreign bed nights decreased two percent. In total, bed nights increased 21 percent from last year's February.
Between January and February, 154,000 bed nights (+17.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 17,300 (+7.2 %) for foreigners in Halland County, in total 172,000 (+16.4 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
