Registered bed nights increased 17 percent
In July 2021, 863,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Halland County (+16.7 %), of which 819,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 44,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 116 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 17 percent from last year's July.
Between January and July, 1.7 million registered bed nights (+12.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 74,600 (+25.4 %) for foreigners in Halland County, in total 1.7 million (+12.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
