Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 21 percent

In February 2023, 2,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Hällefors (+20.5 %), of which 2,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 82 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 28 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 21 percent from last year's February.

390 rooms (-56.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,500 rooms (+402.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 5,500 registered bed nights (+44.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 140 (-51.7 %) for foreigners in Hällefors, in total 5,600 (+37.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.5 million registered bed nights (+20.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+17.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 756,000 nights (+32.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hällefors out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased five percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased five percent compared to earlier year. In Hällefors, length of stay in February was on average 1.2 nights and in Sweden 1.2 nights (+3.0 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hällefors on average 1.2 nights (+2.1 %) and foreigners 3.3 nights (-4.5 %).

2,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 15 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.8 percent were domestic, and 1.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hällefors on average 1.2 nights (+0.03) and foreigners 3.3 nights (+1.9).
