Registered bed nights increased 67 percent

In May 2022, 6,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Hallstahammar (+66.9 %), of which 6,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 126 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 65 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 350 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 67 percent from last year's May.

1,200 rooms (+92.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (+11.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 19,500 registered bed nights (+50.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 260 (+51.5 %) for foreigners in Hallstahammar, in total 19,800 (+50.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 5.4 million registered bed nights (+64.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 4.4 million nights (+46.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 993,000 nights (+241.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hallstahammar out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

3,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 128 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.9 percent were domestic, and 2.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hallstahammar on average 2.1 nights (-0.77) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-0.42).
