Registered bed nights increased 53 percent

In September 2021, 4,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Hallstahammar (+52.6 %), of which 4,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 131 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 50 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 240 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 53 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Czech Republic (32 nights).

650 rooms (+322.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-7.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 53,100 registered bed nights (+6.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (+149.6 %) for foreigners in Hallstahammar, in total 54,300 (+7.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hallstahammar out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

2,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 137 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.0 percent were domestic, and 2.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hallstahammar on average 1.7 nights (-0.96) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.57).
