Registered bed nights increased 135 percent

In December 2021, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Hallstahammar (+134.6 %), of which 3,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 90 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 134 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 150 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 135 percent from last year's December.

600 rooms (+67.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (+80.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 63,600 registered bed nights (+13.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,300 (+147.7 %) for foreigners in Hallstahammar, in total 64,900 (+15.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.4 million registered bed nights (+85.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+74.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 553,000 nights (+166.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hallstahammar out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 188 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.9 percent were domestic, and 2.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hallstahammar on average 2.6 nights (-0.67) and foreigners 3.6 nights (+1.5).
