Registered bed nights increased 20 percent

In April 2021, 7,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Haninge (+20.1 %), of which 6,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 420 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased six percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 20 percent from last year's April.

1,400 rooms (+32.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (-1.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 19,800 registered bed nights (-15.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (-52.1 %) for foreigners in Haninge, in total 21,400 (-19.8 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.3 percent

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Haninge out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

3,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.1 percent were domestic, and 4.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Haninge on average 2.3 nights (-0.33) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+0.11).
