Registered bed nights increased 36 percent

In September 2021, 14,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Haninge (+36.4 %), of which 13,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 34 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 56 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 36 percent from last year's September.

3,500 rooms (+53.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 4,500 rooms (+67.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 109,000 registered bed nights (-5.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 12,400 (+39.6 %) for foreigners in Haninge, in total 121,000 (-2.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Haninge out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

8,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 50 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.1 percent were domestic, and 7.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Haninge on average 1.6 nights (-0.18) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.08).
