Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 18 percent

In November 2019, 8,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Haninge (+17.9 %), of which 7,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 83 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 18 percent from last year's November.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Netherlands (270 nights).

1,100 rooms (+11.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,400 rooms (+2.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 130,000 registered bed nights (+0.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 36,200 (+21.7 %) for foreigners in Haninge, in total 166,000 (+4.8 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 22 percent compared to earlier year. In Haninge, length of stay in November was on average 2.0 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Haninge on average 1.9 nights (-2.2 %) and foreigners 3.1 nights (-22.2 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 89.5 percent were domestic, and 10.5 percent were from foreign countries.
