1,800 registered bed nights (October)

In October 2022, 1,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Hanko (-21.4 %), of which 1,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 36 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 57 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 21 percent from last year's October.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Netherlands (21 nights).

1,500 nights (-20.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 230 nights (-25.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 47,000 registered bed nights (-4.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 930 (+17.3 %) for foreigners in Hanko, in total 47,900 (-3.7 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 24 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.3 percent were domestic, and 2.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hanko on average 1.4 nights (+0.05) and foreigners 1.1 nights (+0.09).

Total accommodation sales in October were 227,000 euro (+1,700). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 39.6 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 137,000 euro (-32,900) and non-registered sales 89,800 euro (+34,600).

Total January-October sales were 4.1 million euro and they increased 422,000 euro from the previous year.
