2,700 bed nights in paid accommodation
Total of 2,700 bed nights (-2.1 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Hanko in November 2021. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 58 % and non-registered 42 %.
Between January and November, the number of paid bed nights was 80,200 (+7.0 %). Share of registered was 64 % and non-registered 36 %.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded. Non-registered bed nights statistics include bed nights from AirBnB and Vrbo.
Registered bed nights increased three percent
In November 2021, 1,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Hanko (+2.8 %), of which 1,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 30 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 330 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased three percent from last year's November.
1,200 nights (-11.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 400 nights (+98.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and November, 50,500 registered bed nights (+0.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 820 (-26.3 %) for foreigners in Hanko, in total 51,400 (-0.5 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 14 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.6 percent were domestic, and 2.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hanko on average 1.5 nights (+0.25) and foreigners 1.2 nights (-0.55).

Accommodation sales 143,000 euro
Total accommodation sales in November were 143,000 euro (-42,700). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 27.4 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 104,000 euro (-44,200) and non-registered sales 39,200 euro (+1,500).
Total January-November sales were 3.8 million euro and they decreased 2.3 million euro from the previous year.
