4,300 bed nights in paid accommodation
Total of 4,300 bed nights (+4.2 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Hanko in April 2022. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 60 % and non-registered 40 %.
Between January and April, the number of paid bed nights was 13,100 (+9.5 %). Share of registered was 59 % and non-registered 41 %.

Registered bed nights increased 25 percent
In April 2022, 2,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Hanko (+25.0 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 8.0 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 53 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 98 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 25 percent from last year's April.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (4.0 nights).
2,000 nights (+6.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 580 nights (+213.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 7,300 registered bed nights (+31.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 420 (-21.4 %) for foreigners in Hanko, in total 7,800 (+26.7 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 49 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.6 percent were domestic, and 0.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hanko on average 1.6 nights (-0.07) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-3.5).
